Kenya's history.

Paleontologists believe the first few people lived in Kenya about 2 million years ago. In the 700s, Arab seafarers made settlements along the coast of Kenya. But the Portugese took over the land of Kenya in the early 1500s. More than 40 cultural groups stayed in Kenya. But Kenya's largest group, the Kiyuku, migrated to the Kenya region at the beginning of the 18th century.

A while after that, the land of Kenya became a place for Britain in 1980 and the Crown Colony in 1920, which had the name of "British East Africa". National arguements began in the 1940s, but in the 1952 Mau Mau Monument, which had Kiyuku soldiers, fought against the government. The arguement lasted until 1956.
